We expect participants to interact with one another in a manner consistent with Christian character, including:

Christian community does not require everyone to agree on every issue. It does require us to engage one another in a way that honors Christ.

You do not have to have everything figured out before participating. Questions are welcome. Honest struggles are welcome. Theological questions are welcome. The purpose of discipleship is growth. Participants should therefore feel free to ask sincere questions, seek clarification, examine Scripture, and acknowledge areas in which they are still growing. At the same time, being in a growth environment means being willing to learn, receive biblical correction, examine our beliefs, and allow Scripture to challenge us.

28:19 Ministries is a Christian discipleship ministry. The Bible is foundational to our teaching, doctrine, and community practices. Participants may ask questions or respectfully disagree with interpretations presented during discussions. However, ministry platforms should not be used to continually promote teachings or doctrines that fundamentally contradict the established beliefs of 28:19 Ministries or to intentionally undermine its teaching and leadership. Questions are encouraged. Healthy discussion is encouraged. Contentiousness and persistent disruption are not.

Participants must communicate respectfully with leaders and with one another. Healthy disagreement is permitted. Personal attacks are not. Please refrain from:

• Insults

• Name-calling

• Bullying

• Harassment

• Threats

• Intimidation

• Hostile arguments

• Sexually inappropriate comments

• Degrading language

• Deliberately inflammatory behavior

We can disagree without dishonoring one another.

Discipleship requires environments where people can be honest. Participants may share personal experiences, struggles, testimonies, prayer requests, or sensitive circumstances during classes, coaching sessions, meetings, or community discussions. Please treat those disclosures with care.

What someone shares in a private discipleship environment should not become someone else's conversation outside of that environment.

​

Participants should not:

• Share another participant's personal story without permission;

• Screenshot private conversations for distribution;

• Record private meetings without authorization;

• Post another person's prayer request publicly without permission;

• Gossip about information learned through ministry participation; or

• Use someone's vulnerability against them.

However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed absolutely, particularly where disclosure may be required by law or where ministry leaders reasonably believe intervention is necessary to address an immediate safety concern.

Classes, coaching sessions, Zoom meetings, livestream discussions, group conversations, or other ministry gatherings may not be privately recorded, reproduced, livestreamed, or redistributed without authorization.

This protects both: the privacy of participants and the intellectual property of the ministry.

Official recordings made by 28:19 Ministries may be subject to separate notices or permissions.

28:19 Ministries community spaces are not platforms for personal fundraising or financial solicitation. Unless expressly authorized by ministry leadership, participants may not solicit other members for:

• Money

• Loans

• Personal financial assistance

• Donations

• Crowdfunding

• Business investments

• Fundraisers

• Financial gifts

• Payment of personal expenses

We understand that people sometimes experience legitimate financial hardship.

If you have a need, please communicate privately with ministry leadership rather than soliciting members of the community.

This policy exists to protect participants from pressure, misunderstanding, exploitation, and uncomfortable financial situations.

Community membership should not be treated as access to a customer base. Without prior authorization, participants may not use ministry platforms to promote or recruit for:

• Businesses

• Coaching services

• Products

• Paid programs

• Multi-level marketing opportunities

• Organizations

• Events

• Affiliate programs

• Other commercial ventures

Networking and authentic relationships may naturally develop. However, ministry relationships should not be exploited for commercial purposes.

We encourage healthy relationships among participants. However, access to a ministry community does not automatically give someone permission to repeatedly contact another participant privately.

When communicating privately:

• Respect personal boundaries.

• Do not pressure someone to respond.

• Do not engage in harassment.

• Do not make inappropriate sexual or romantic advances.

• Do not solicit money.

• Do not manipulate someone spiritually.

• Respect requests to discontinue communication.

If another participant asks you to stop contacting them, please honor that request. Concerns about inappropriate communication may be reported to ministry leadership.

No participant may use Scripture, prophecy, spiritual language, ministry position, or claims of divine revelation to manipulate, intimidate, control, exploit, or pressure another person.

Statements such as "God told me you have to..." should never be used to override another person's appropriate boundaries or personal responsibility before God. Spiritual gifts should operate in a manner consistent with Scripture, order, humility, love, and accountability.

Prayer is an important part of our community. When praying for or ministering to another person:

• Respect their boundaries;

• Do not embarrass or expose them;

• Do not publicly disclose private information;

• Avoid making promises that God has not made;

• Do not use prayer as an opportunity to rebuke, manipulate, or indirectly criticize someone; and

• Follow leadership instructions during organized ministry times.

Prayer should build up—not control.

Discipleship involves more than receiving information. It requires transformation.

Participants may encounter teaching that challenges:

• Habits

• Assumptions

• Theology

• Character

• Relationships

• Priorities

• Behaviors

• Mindsets

Biblical correction should be offered with truth and love. Likewise, participants are encouraged to approach correction with humility and discernment. Accountability should never become humiliation, coercion, or control.

Community members may encourage and pray for one another, but participation does not authorize someone to present themselves as another participant's:

• Therapist

• Licensed counselor

• Physician

• Attorney

• Financial adviser

• Crisis professional

When a matter requires professional expertise, participants should be encouraged to seek an appropriately qualified professional.

Course materials and community resources are provided subject to the 28:19 Ministries Copyright & Permissions Policy.

Participants should not:

• Upload course materials elsewhere;

• Forward restricted downloads;

• Share paid content with nonparticipants;

• Reproduce proprietary curriculum;

• Share login credentials;

• Record protected teaching for redistribution; or

• Present ministry materials as their own.

Please share the official ministry link, rather than distributing protected files.

When participating in live classes, coaching groups, Bible studies, or virtual meetings, participants are encouraged to:

• Arrive on time whenever possible;

• Come prepared;

• Participate appropriately;

• Allow others an opportunity to speak;

• Avoid monopolizing discussions;

• Remain respectful when others are speaking;

• Minimize unnecessary distractions; and

• Communicate when ongoing circumstances affect participation.

Our goal is not perfection. Our goal is creating an environment conducive to everyone's growth.

Ministry leaders, facilitators, volunteers, and participants are expected to maintain appropriate relational and ethical boundaries.

Leadership or ministry access should never be used to:

• Exploit someone financially;

• Pursue inappropriate relationships;

• Demand personal loyalty;

• Manipulate spiritual decisions;

• Obtain inappropriate personal information; or

• Exercise control beyond legitimate ministry responsibilities.

Concerns regarding the conduct of a leader, facilitator, or participant should be reported through the appropriate ministry contact.

Conflict sometimes occurs in genuine community. When possible and appropriate, we encourage biblical conflict resolution consistent with principles such as those found in Matthew 18:15–17.

Participants should seek:

Conversation before accusation.
Understanding before assumption.
Reconciliation where possible.
Truth with love.

Serious misconduct, safety concerns, harassment, or circumstances where direct contact would be inappropriate should be reported to ministry leadership rather than handled privately.

28:19 Ministries reserves the right to moderate its communities and platforms.

Content may be removed when it violates these Guidelines, disrupts the purpose of the community, violates applicable platform rules, or presents legal or safety concerns.

Moderation decisions may include removal of:

• Posts

• Comments

• Links

• Advertisements

• Images

• Videos

• Messages within ministry-controlled spaces

• Other inappropriate conten

Depending upon the circumstances, violations may result in:

1. Private conversation or clarification;

2. Verbal or written warning;

3. Removal of inappropriate content;

4. Temporary restriction of community privileges;

5. Removal from a particular class, group, or community; or

6. Termination of access to ministry programs or platforms.

Not every situation requires each step. Serious misconduct may result in immediate restriction or removal when reasonably necessary to protect participants, the ministry, or the integrity of the community.

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these Guidelines, please contact ministry leadership.

Reports should include, when possible:

• Your name and contact information;

• A description of what occurred;

• The individuals involved;

• Approximate date and location/platform;

• Relevant screenshots or documentation, when appropriate.

Reports will be handled with reasonable discretion, although absolute confidentiality cannot be promised.

Retaliation against someone for raising a good-faith concern is prohibited.

28:19 Ministries may periodically update these Community Guidelines as our programs and communities develop.
